Privacy policy
RueRoo Dog is operated by Snorka, LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Who this is for
RueRoo Dog is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account. Children participate through profiles created and controlled by an adult in the household — see Children below.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Your account. When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive a unique identifier for you, and your name and email address if you choose to share them. If you use Apple’s Hide My Email, we receive a relay address and never see your real one. We never receive or store your password.
- Your household. The name you give your household and its time zone.
- Your dogs. Name, breed, and photos you upload.
- Your people. Names of household members and of child profiles you create.
- Care records. Schedules you set and everything logged against them: meals and amounts, walks, potty and stool records, medication and supplement doses, grooming, and free-text notes.
- Photos you attach to your dog or to a care record.
Information collected automatically
- Device tokens for push notifications, and the platform (iOS or Android).
- Time zone, so reminders arrive at the right local time.
- Diagnostics — crash reports and performance data, sampled, to find and fix faults.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect payment card details. Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google, who do not share your payment details with us.
- We do not collect your location. If GPS walk tracking ships in future, it will run only during a walk you explicitly start, and this policy will be updated before it does.
- We do not collect anything directly from children.
Why we use it
- To deliver reminders at the right time to the right people.
- To show your household who did what, and to stop the same task being done twice.
- To keep your data in sync across devices.
- To provide support when you ask for it.
- To keep the service secure and diagnose faults.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your data or your photos to train AI models for anyone else.
If AI stool analysis ships in future, photos you submit for analysis will be processed to produce a description and a score. We will state plainly, before you use it, whether any third party processes those images, and it will be optional.

Only the service providers who make the app work.

If we add a subscription-management provider, this table will be updated before it processes any of your information.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety. If we are ever acquired, your information may transfer as part of that, and we will tell you first.
Your household can see your entries
Anything you log is visible to the other members of your household. That is the entire point of the product, but it is worth being explicit: do not record anything in RueRoo Dog you would not want everyone in your household to read.
Children
Children do not have RueRoo Dog accounts, and cannot.
A child in your household exists as a profile that an adult creates: a display name and the tasks they help with. A child profile has no login, no email address, and no credentials. This is enforced by the database itself, not only by policy.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. The only information about a child in our system is what an adult household member typed in — typically a first name.
If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@snorka.co and we will delete it promptly.
Your choices
- See and export your data. Export everything as CSV or PDF at any time, on any plan, free — including after you cancel.
- Correct it. Edit any record in the app.
- Delete it. Delete individual records, a dog, or your entire household and account.
- Turn off notifications in your device settings.
- Withdraw consent by deleting your account.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights — to access, correct, delete, or port your information, and to object to certain processing. Email support@snorka.co and we will honour those requests. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal information is removed from our live systems within 30 days, and expires from encrypted backups within 90 days of that deletion.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to the people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise; if a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
Where your data lives
On servers in the United States. If you are outside the US, your information is transferred there.
Changes
If we change this policy materially we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
